Lava has announced Iris Pro 30+ smartphone in India for the price of Rs.11,990/-. The Lava Iris Pro 30+’s predecessor, the Iris Pro 30 was launched earlier this year in January. Comparing the specifications of both these phones, it is clear that Iris Pro 30+ is a refreshed version of Iris Pro 30 with certain changes in rear camera resolution, the processor and the storage capacity. Lava Iris Pro 30+ will be available to buy from physical retail stores across India and it will be available via Amazon bundled with 16GB microSD card, starting August 26.
The Lava Iris Pro 30+ is a Dual SIM supported phone that runs on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS. With Lava already having phones like Iris 460 and Magnum X604 running Android v4.4 KitKat edition, it is rather disappointing to see this phone running Android v4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone comes with 4.7-inch IPS display with OGS having a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-core Mediatek 6589 Turbo processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device sports 13MP auto-focus rear camera with Dual-LED flash and has a 3MP front-facing camera. The Iris Pro 30+ includes 16GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB using MicroSD card. The Iris Pro 30+ packs a 2000mAh battery.
