For all those 3D fans that might also be in Europe we have good news from LG today. After the reveal of their new Optimus 3D max at Mobile World Congress, LG is all set to entitle users to experience the 3D action. Although the whole mobile 3D hasn’t really taken off like manufacturers had hope, LG still had a device it wants to share and throw in the mix.The Optimus 3D Max is the brutally carb-free version of LG’s original 3D phone, now lighter and thinner but still gnawing on last year’s Android Gingerbread.
“We are deliberately pushing the limits of mobile entertainment innovation with the Op-timus 3D Max,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
The LG Optimus 3D max sports the following features:
- 4.3-inch WVGA 3D
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 1.2GHz dual-core processor
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB internal storage
- 5mega-pixel rear cameras with 3D video and capture
- screen protected by Gorilla Glass
- Near Field Communication Activated
- VGA front-facing camera
Hopefully we’ll hear steps for an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon.
